This Is Weird

I went to log on, and it took me to a page where I had to verify my account.

I typed in my GMail address, which is the one that I use for when I shop on line etc. I use it like a secondary e-mail to try and filter some of the junk that I get.

It wouldn't accept it, saying that that one was already being used.

Yeah! By me!

So, I typed in my primary e-mail address, and it was accepted.

I have not used the Yuban nic in years.

I cannot stress this enough, I am NOT trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes!

Let me say that again, I am NOT trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes.

It's just at the change-over, I had to create a new nic, hence Plaid Pants.

So, I'm Yuban for now, who knows who I'll be the next time I log on.

*Sigh*

Has anyone else encountered this?

Was Yuban, then changed to Plaid Pants due to forum upgrade, and apparently, I'm back to being Yuban.

If that showed up after not using it for a long time, I'd suggest running an anti-virus scan.

I thought you had the Plaid Pants nic before the changeover.

Whatever. There's always some sort of glitch here. Maybe the mods can help you figure it all out.

I could not sign into my Gmail account last night. I am wondering if the problem is with Gmail ...

I logged out, and closed the page, then opened a new page, and logged back in, and this time it accepted my g-mail address.

As I said, weird.

@Plaid Pants2 Yes, that really sounds like there was a problem with gmail (QVC couldn't verify your email when you tried to log in the first time). Glad to see everything is back to normal for you now!
