I hope and pray everyone is safe from all of this crazy weather ! I saw the weather report today indicating all of the storms, hail, tornados and floods over the midwest and south moving eastward. We here in St. Louis had storms all day Friday into the night and early morning Saturday. My power went out Friday night and did not return until after 8 Saturday morning and the internet was down from Friday night until after 7 am this morning (Sunday) just before I left for Church.   You never know how much you need the internet until it's down !  I had over 65 emails on my cell phone that I couldn't read !  Terrible thing womanlol:

Yes it is horrible to be without power. It's not so much the lights, and not being able to cook, lol...it's the technical stuff......computer, television, phones. We have become so used to them,  I am in California, and the area I live in for about 4 years had outages all the time. Usually around dinner and for hours, sometimes 10-14 hours. This happened at least once a week!   During Covid we invested in a whole house generator. The whole enchilada! The big boy.  It turns on 30 seconds after an outrage is detected. It tirnes on everything, heat/AC, computers, everything in this house.  Best investment ever!  Now, we have had it 4 years and it's turned on 2 times, lol. Yup, those outages stopped so frequently once we got the generator. lol 

 as long as the natural gas is available it will work. Sometimes we have had to use hot spots to use computer.  I felt sort of bad last time when we were out for 14 hours.  We were Only light you could see for vast area!  But I was happy, neighbors come over to cook or use microwave or charge something sometimes.  

but I sure feel the pain about you loosing power. Now our internet company is the country's worst, frontier, and that goes out all the time!  I am 77 and disabled to do many things so I miss the computer when power is out.

@Goodie2shoes : Totally agree and praying. We had bad storms earlier and power out for 10 minutes. One of my SIL lives 45 minutes from us. She stated that a tornado was near her area. Stated the rain and hail was bad and she could hear trees falling. Lost power but no damage.

Rain and thunder has started again. Praying for everyone.🙏🙏🙏🙏

We've already hit 80* this year but today it's windy and freezing again.  I'm grateful for our newly updated fireplace, I just turned it on.  I hate being cold.  🥶
