At first I thought this thread was about Steve's dad (also Robert Irwin.)  I think things are still quite frosty between Steve's family and Steve's dad. Bindi has stated there is no communication between him and her family.

I didn't realize this, though haven't read much about them in the past. Do you know any details regarding the feud with Steve's dad?

Wow! I googled the photos of his boxer brief Bonds Underwear ad campaign-.  He is a hunk 😄😘🙌🔥! I love his natural lean and strong physique- no steroids or bulkiness to Robert's build. He's a pro with handling all kinds of different exotic and dangerous animals, and he looks comfortable holding them. There's a great Entertainment Tonight interview on youtube called "Robert Irwin REACTS to Sexy Underwear Ads! (Exclusive)" I like that Robert is handsome, down to earth and friendly. He's a catch!

Yes, really. He is age-appropriate,  stunningly handsome, physically perfect and well-known enough for his good reputation to be modeling underwear and getting the company attention to their product on any or all of those attributes.

@KKJ Supposedly, beginning shortly after Steve's death, there was a disagreement regarding how the zoo should move forward. (This is what the family stated, it may or not be true.) There were arguments and conflicts which resulted in estrangement, and rather than the relationship improving with time, it worsened until there was no communication.  Bindi contends that her grandfather has said, and continues to say bad things about her.  She claims he chooses not to be part of their lives.
