Re: There is a real thing called Victimhood!

@CrazyDaisy  This 'condition/issue' is quite common. I can see this in many who post reviews for products on QVC. Many times I will view very negative reviews and then I will click on their history. Many give poor reviews for nearly everything they purchase...and yet they still buy from QVC.

I also remember news from several years ago about a woman who wanted both of her legs cut off. that story gave me nightmares for weeks. I never followed through to find out if a dr/surgeon actually gave her the procedure she wanted. There was nothing wrong with her legs. It truly made me sick to my stomach.

Re: There is a real thing called Victimhood!

I think all of us have the ability to become angry and snarky on occasion. We're only human.  Most of us snap out of it, not allowing it to define us.

I think the OP is referring to a more serious problem.  Not forum antics. I've often referred to it as: 'the black hole of emotional pain and need.'  It's a situation diagnostic for behavioral mental health issues, regardless of why it originated.

These perpetually angry, negative, impulsive individuals live every day with anticipatory doom and are not dwelling in a happy place. They're often depressed and behaviors isolate them.

They use up every available happy hormone and neurochemical trying to defend against their own thoughts and negativity.  At this level, it's destructive and sad.  But, without any insight, it's often a losing battle, only getting worse.
