Re: The ROLLING STORE

[ Edited ]

@cheriere  I love livestreaming QVC on the computer or watching live on the TV. Yes indeed! We can always find eachother on the 50 and Fabulous Live Streams Smiley Very HappyHeart.  i've noticed when some ladies share the same name, they'll put their initial for their last name or they'll put their name and the city they are from- so if there is another Cherie, there's definitely a way to differentiate between the two Smiley Happy

Good, I wondered how that might work.  I remember there was and may still be a lady named" Ellen"that used to livestream all the time when I was on there.  Anyways, there was constantly some big brew ha ha over her claiming someone had stolen her name and gone on there saying a bunch of crazy stuff lol.😃🌸

I don't know what the deal really was, but she refused to give up her real name, that I remember.  Not long after all that I found it here and truthfully haven't live-streamed but a time or two since.  I used to always play the Watch and Win game too.  I used my name there as well.  Now that I think about it, I need to at least start playing that again.  I just got discouraged because I played for a really long time of course never winning.  There was several people who'd already won more than once too!😳

When I was a very little girl I remember the ice man.  He used to deliver blocks of ice for

residential ice boxes.  Some people had electric refrigerators, but a lot had ice boxes.  We had an ice box.  I can't remember the cost.  I want to say twenty-five cents, but that could have been for more than one block.

@mildoo  The ice man must've been a welcome visitor- especially on a hot day! That's such a useful item to deliver- I bet he had a lot of customers that were grateful for his ice deliveries Smiley Happy.  I love ice in my fruit punch, iced tea, lemonade and water.

@cheriere  Interesting! Ellen must really like her name- I wonder if she was worried that other Ellen's could mistakenly win her prize if there were too many ladies sharing the same name? I've never won on Watch and Win either- its fun to watch and some people are really lucky to win more than once.  Imagine someone winning an Affinity Diamond ring or something- wouldn't that be great? I never get the Watch and Win trivia questions right in order to win- there was one that asked, "What was QVC's building originally used for?" The answer was that it was a computer manufacturing building- of the options to choose from, I wrote "skateboard factory" Smiley LOLSmiley Very Happy.  Did you hear about the latest lotto? Somebody won 1.3 billion dollars! I spent $10 on lotto tickets this past month to enter and won $0- but it was nice to dream for a few days.

I love ❤️ this story about the ice man.  I'll bet a lot of people depended on him.  Thanks so much for sharing this.  I'll be sure and mention your story to my mom.💝🌸

I know what you mean about some of those questions.  I don't see how anyone could possibly know the answers.  I did get a fair share right but it was only whenever they started repeating them lol.😃

I can't imagine what I'd do if I ever won a lotto like that!  It would seemingly solve nearly every problem I have lol.  I never win either, even small amounts.  Now, my mom on the other hand has always been super lucky!  Lottos, prizes, heck she even randomly met two of the members of AC/DC once and called me up be a she remembered I liked them lol.  Nothing like that ever happens to me.😃
