I'm in the Albuquerque area where it's supposed to be 80% with the maximum at 12:30pm, in about 20 minutes. It's very cloudy here but the light has definitely dimmed.

It doesn't start till 1:30 here. Total cloud cover. It'll just be neat to experience the darkness and no birds chirping.. we are in Tyler for David's cataract follow up but I'll be walking outside shortly before 1:30.

Mostly Cloudy here in North East Texas. I looked out the window and all I see are people on the other building's roof tops looking at the cloudy sky. Nasa is live streaming it on Youtube.

@monicakm. So you're right in the path, right?

We have almost complete cloud cover right now. It's supposed to have started 10 minutes ago here in southeast PA, but you can't tell. It should get quite dark in about an hour. Nothing to see so far.

It is pretty cloudy here down the highway from you Monica. Downtown as a ton of people watching but it is just too cloudy to see anything.

Here in the Bay area it started about 9 minutes ago. We are only getting a 34% eclipse but I can tell that the sunshine has definitely dimmed.

Sunny and clear here in central, coastal New Jersey. I looked at the eclipse just slightly after 2:10 and you could see a tiny part of the bottom right side starting to cover the sun. Going outside about every 15 minutes or so to see the progess again. It's so cool watching it! We're supposed to get 90% eclipse.
