Got the chicken at Trader Joes, free range, organic.

The recipe is from Ina Garten, easily found by googling.

Easy Peasy and DELISH!

Just had some leftovers for breakfast.

I heard they had good chicken but I've never tried it.

It really was good. Totally worth the extra money.

I always appreciate a recommendation, thanks Kitty. I'm a Trader Joe's regular customer, but oddly, I've never tried their organic, free range chicken. I'll make it a point to pick some up next trip. I'll also check out Ina's recipe. Smile

I know....I can't really remember the last time I cooked a roast chicken! Our local supermarket has the rotisserie ones on sale for 5 bucks every Friday. I don't think you can cook one that cheaply! And they are really delicious! I did look up Ina's recipe though....and it does look good!

For some reason, though.....I really, really hate cleaning up after cooking a roast chicken. something about all that congealed chicken fat I think.

Re: The Perfect Roast Chicken

I bake my own chicken, I prefer how mine tastes...though Costco's baked chickens are pretty darn good.

My go-to roast chicken recipe is Martha Stewart's Roast Chicken 101. It smells great cooking and comes out all crispy. Of course anything that you smear butter all over before roasting would be crispySmiley Happy
