Just heard on the news that they have taken off to avoid charges against them so now when they are caught all bets off for them being released from jail. There is a all out manhunt after they did not show up to court this morning. Crazy stupid stuff !!

This just shows the lack of love they have for their son.  They left a fifteen year old to fend for himself.  It is a sad situation for everyone involved.

Anything his parents do will be criticized. If they stand by him, people will criticize.

The story has been updated...according to their attorneys they did not flee, they left their home for their safety & will be turning themselves in.

I guess a good lawyer could get them off.  Question:  Did they hand him the gun or did he just find and take it?  

But bottom line what a poor excuse for parents who TAKE OFF and not support their child. Perhaps that was part of the problem in the first place.

There is an unsubstantiated report that the parents bought the kid the gun for Christmas.
