When it comes to bird species, the males have the brighter plumage.   

They have to impress the females, and this guy should have no problem getting any gal to notice him.

@Tinkrbl44 Welcome!🥰  I was not aware the males had the brighter plumage until I went to this bird exhibit, then researched it. I also saw and took photos of BEAUTIFUL peacocks in an exhibit and it was the same distinction; the males are the BEAUTIFUL, bright colorful ones!😁

Thanks, @SandySparkles . I actually googled it to find if they were native to the USA, but didn't look beyond that. Do they live in the wild here, and if so where?
