Re: The Genetically Engineered Impossible Burger And The Story Behind It

In the past 3 years the human life span has decreased. We have more autoimmune disease now than ever before, more food allergies to genetically modified grains, fruits, vegetables, & meats, and more lab created artificial ingredients added to our foods than ever before. It’s no wonder our life expectancy is decreasing. These issues combined are far worse than global warming, but very few high profile people are discussing them because these practices are very big money makers to the biotechnology, food, pharmaceutical, and health care industries.

Last I checked in the USA organic food cannot be GMO.

It varies in other countries.

Re: The Genetically Engineered Impossible Burger And The Story Behind It

It’s not the grains/fruits/vegetables/greens which are

decreasing life span.  If eatten unadorned they will extend life.

But people won’t do that...they oil & fat them up then

blame the grains/fruits/vegetables/greens when they get sick.

A PB diet, all GMO’d & conventional, is still a zillion times

healthier & better for a human than a SAD or any diet

including animal products/byproducts, no matter how they

are raised.

@Ketra   So do I.

Ingesting foods grown with chemicals and sludge based fertilizers should be a concern for everyone.

I'm really getting fed up with all the plant hype-heathy as the way of eating may be, we still do not measure the effects of everything used to grow them.

Organic doesn't have to be expensive, either.

@sidsmom  That’s why our life span has decreased in the past 3 years. Many, many people lived well into their hundreds eating non genetically modified foods (meat and vegatables) without all the added artificial chemicals they add to it after it’s been modified. Scientists think they can do better than God regarding our food supply. They always take things too far, and we have no say even though we’re the ones affected. We are all paying the price for their arrogant choices. We the people were never asked before they started tampering with our food.

But the ‘sludge based’ fertilizers are making the food to give to the

livestock which you eat....and it’s so condensed, lying in the tissues

for years.

I don't care what other people eat. I wouldn't touch that stuff if you paid  me
