FOX has the best and the brightest on board. The ratings tell the story. Outnumbered is another one of their great programs. Smart people that tackle the real issues. Hopefully, more young people are tuning in and will vote in 2016 so that we can try to turn this mess around.
Seriously, this mess? Has anyone bothered to listen to how many jobs have been created since the fiasco of 2008? How about the stock market, which has reached it's highest level in history? How about the outrageous profits of big corporations, mainly big oil and pharma? (and how many of them are sitting on those profits and not creating jobs?) And "O" was blamed for high gas prices several years ago, and now is anyone giving him any credit for current LOW gas prices? Neither is caused by anything any pres does.... no matter what goes wrong, this admin gets the blame, but never any credit for anything that goes right. And we could also talk about who has blocked all attempts to make this recovery help the middle class.
I think the tables are going to be turned now. He has been blocked on everything he's tried to do, and now it's his turn... all he needs is a pen.
Yep why let that silly old paper called the constitution get in his way. Yes tables are turning and the pathetic apologists are seeing what their actions have caused all around the world as we speak. Your chickens have certainly come home to roost. Well down left well done.
Apparently people forget that the constitution says that Congress is supposed to WORK, meaning work as in be in town to do some work instead of spending most of their time away from the halls of Congress, as well as work meaning, actually do some work. This last Congress, mainly the House, has been the least productive congress in history. And if the chickens have come home to roost, it's because they were raised by people who had no intention of doing anything that would make this pres look good, even though it was at the expense of the people they are supposed to serve.
And BTW, why are you responding to something that was not directed to you?

Um I respond because I can I don't question people on posts that I think could or could not be directed to me. As you did above because you seem to like to look for anything in my post that in your opinion are some sort of insult directed personally at you. I notice that because for several months you have made a point of calling out my post when they had nothing to do with you. So I reread ALL the posts to see if I could find something anything that you wrote that would be personally directed at other posters and BINGO I found it. So there you have something to call me on.

The congress is not there as a personal PR firm for this President or any President. They are there to serve us. Something this President who is constantly still campaigning seems to forget.
That being said I was referring to Foreign Policy issues. I would think my prior comments would lead the reader in that direction but it didn't so again bending over backwards and apologizing for the US role in the ME has done nothing to stop people who will hate us no matter what. Insulting our only true friend in the ME Israel has done nothing but strain ties with them. Not speaking out in defense of Israel at the UN when the UN council on human rights wants sanctions against them is not what friends do. The list goes on and on. BTW, the UNHR Council says nothing against human rights acts done by its fellow members like Iran and Saudi Arabia.
As for the Congress I agree both sides do nothing to help us. Heck leaving Boehner in proves that the Republicans are not listening to the wishes of the voters. But the Democrats are certainly not angels either and if you honestly think they are then I suggest you look at how they voted as well.

I was trying to joke with Cara and bring a little levity to the situation because she asked me previously why I responded to something that was directed to someone else - twice - but it was directed to those of us who disagree, not to a particular person.
I'm done with this thread, it's getting ridiculous.
ETA: Cara, do you remember several months ago, I think on an Ebola thread, we were strongly disagreeing with each other? However, we discussed the situation in an adult manner and decided to be friendly and "agree to disagree" - in fact I remember us joking about it. And I think it was dooBdoo that said how great it was that we could work out our differences. I don't know what happened to that... and I wish we could get it back. I would much prefer to be able to disagree with others' opinions and not allow the back and forth to become contentious and personal. I try to stick to the topics being discussed but not make remarks directed at people, unless I'm feeling the necessity to defend myself. I would welcome your response. I'll check later to see if you have any thoughts, gotta take my cat to the vet.
