I had big decorating plans for today, but  it just wasn't in the cards. I did get my tree up, but just to straighten the branches. No decorating yet , just too tired and not in the mood. I did have a nice surprise, I unpacked the wreath that I ordered from LLBean , and it is prelit !  I never noticed that detail when I ordered it, it was delivered Wed. But I just checked it to see if it was alive and in good shape. I put some batteries in and boy is it pretty, a happy mistake !

I didn't get as much decorating done as I wanted too either, but, it's still early! Hopefully by the end of this weekend it will be all done! We'll see...

I hung a fresh pine wreath today, Merry Christmas.

I was supposed to put up my tree and decorate as well. I just did not feel like it. (smile) I did get some other projects done around the house, so I am pleased.

I will put it up by Sunday.

I hear you.  I managed to change the kitchen over from fall/Thanksgiving, to my wintry/Christmas scheme, and boy did my arthritis talk to me!

I'm glad now that I got the kitchen done, but that, combined with a long walk in a strong cold wind, fussing with valve stem covers and tire pressure (tell me who can spin those things off and on quickly - ow), and trips up and down a ladder to position new smoke alarms, I hope I sleep well tonight.

Tomorrow I may tackle other areas, but it's OK if they wait.

Your wreath sounds nice, and how delightful to discover a "bonus", @QVCkitty1 .

I have the tree and the ornament boxes and decorstion boxes stacked up in the corner but we weren't in the mood to do anything with them.  We kept saying "later" but later didn't come.  Maybe tomorrow.  Packages are still arriving.  Things I bought in September and forgot about.  Seems like some people are going to get 2 presents from us this year.  I haven't looked at any shopping channels today because I don't want to be tempted to buy something I don't need.  I'm easily tempted.

Tree is up and decorated. We did a little outside too. Tomorrow the inside will get done. I had a friend who had a beautiful house, but she only put up a tree and a wreath outside. I used to think she was a Scrooge, but now I kind of like the idea.

I'm still working on housecleaning today but yesterday mangaged to clean some rooms and put away all the fall decor.  I'm on a mission so it's time to get back to work!  It snowed a bit here last night so that's a good incentive to get the Christmas decor going!

@QVCkitty1, the quality of LL Bean wreaths and centerpieces I have always found to be excellent. They are definitely good at what they do.

@RetRN , I've ordered wreaths from them for many years, and only once did I get a lemon. The good news is they replaced it in plenty of time, they have great customer service.
