After 39 years together Tennille filed for divorce. ${#emotions_dlg.sad}$ Guess love couldn't keep them together after all. I grew up with their music and remember thinking how cute I thought they were together. Oh well, they had a good run of it, hope they are both happy.

LOL! I thought that too Ford. She is 73 and the Cptn is like 71... why not just keep a marriage of "convenience"? Oh well, their lives...they must have a reason after nearly 40 years together. I'll always love their music.

Could be they gave it a good try and just want to enjoy what time they have left without compromising or considering another persons needs?

I was sad to hear about this.

I loved them when I was growing up.

I am off to You Tube for a walk down memory lane to listen to their songs.

I hope they realize how upset this is making me!

Good point Croemer, they must have had lots of good times to stay together for so long, but it's never too late to find the happiness in the next chapter of your life.
