The sun is out, and the rain has stopped. It is calm; the sun is out.
On Friday we had a rain/wind storm that downed power lines and trees
all over. We live in Monterey County. Our closest neighbor lost two
tremendous eucalyptus trees on his property. Luckily it happened in
the open, no structures were involved. We have a small grove of
trees near our house and are very worried about them crashing down
on our house. After almost thirty years here, trees near the house are
scary.
After almost four days without electiricty, it came back on yesterday
afternoon. What a luxury.
Now, it's the snowpack when it melts.
