[feline groovy]

...specifically to Ashley (& her dear ones):  an extra special person I met on the grocery line this evening.

My faith in humanity is restored on an almost daily basis, but she wowed me with a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) and gave me extra hope.

What an empatheticand compassionate person!

Will do.  Sometimes I'll meet a person and they'll tell me a problem (strangers) and they look at me strange when I say, "What's the first name?"  They look at me weird.  I say, "When I say my prayers, I like to say a name".  They tell me and we say good-bye.  That's what I will do for this person.  Take care and I also believe in the goodness of people.  If you look at someone and smile they almost always smile back.

I think the two of you were together for a reason.

It seems like including it will help the efficacy, LOL.

I try to always smile at others as well; doesn't matter if it's not returned.

It's important to acknowlege everyone's existence and for them to know that they matter.

It doesn't surprise me that you believe in people's inherent goodness.  Although hoomins can often be frustrating!

ITA about no coincidences; things are kismet or not.

And I like to compliment those who are extra humane towards any living being.

Have met some of the nicest people at the grocery store.....from trying to reach things on the upper shelves (riding cart) to offering to empty my items from my cart to the roller at the checkout......  And, some of the nicest folks that work at these stores are the young folks that take groceries out of the cart and place them in my car. 

Always remember to thank them for their kindness.  And, a smile goes a long way......

I believe in practicing RAK's myself (it's fun!), yet you always feel a bit stunned when one affects you personally.

Even more reason to pay things forward as much as possible, and become a better person.

Educate, empower, and encourage the same in others, too.
