Do you remember their arrival 50 years ago? I recall watching them on a black and white television with a tiny screen. Paul was my favorite, and I can still see his portrait in a music store here in Connecticut, then seeing the same portrait in a shop in Los Angeles a little while later. I was eight-years-old and am still playing their music today. They have been the soundtrack of my life, whether as a group or as solo artists.

I was six and didn't get into them till years later. Still love their music.

I do indeed remember seeing them and I was so excited!!! I have never stopped loving them and never will!!! Paul was my very first crush. When I look at old pictures and videos of him, I still think he was just the cutest thing going!!!!

Yes, Paul is still my fave, & I am glad I got to see him July 2010 in San Francisco. 0

I was 13 when I saw them on ED SULLIVAN & have loved them ever since, & still have 3 good friends I met through Beatles get togethers/clubs. The Beatles only came to Portland in Aug 1965, so I went to Seattle in 1966 to see them again. And have seen Paul many times since, w/Wings & w/his current band (the best, after the Beatles of course).

Am looking forward to Paul & Ringo playing together again tonight in the CBS special from 8-10 pm (it was recorded the day after the Grammies is why all the other singers were able to be there). I just hope they leave room for a lot of BEATLES FOOTAGE, to heck w/Adam Levine singing Beatles songs!

KathyLFan: I'm with you. Hoping for lots of old footage, but if William Shatner shows up to do "Lucy in the Sky" (even if it was a joke the first time) I'll be in bed early.

I was a Beatlemaniac, still love them. I was 14 when they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show but I was introduced to their music before that. I remember buying "Meet the Beatles." I still have my original Beatles LPs. My Mother made me a grey corduroy Beatles suit with red piping on the collar (skirt suit not pants suit). I was so sad when my girlfriends got to go to New Orleans to see the Beatles in concert (I was too poor). When Hard Day's Night came to the local theater, we sat through all the showings that day and yes we screamed. I finally got to see Paul McCartney and Wings in Berkeley in 1990. It was a great show. So many great memories!

Of course! They first arrived in the U.S. on my 16th birthday. We were all so young then. Really hard to believe I was just a teenager then & now eligible for Medicare{#emotions_dlg.scared} I just wish John & George were still around, too.
