My dad managed to hit his hand early this morning on a sharp table corner, and because of his tissue paper thin skin, cut a vein on the back of his hand. Blood everywhere... finally after an hour and lots of ice cold compresses, I got the bleeding stopped and got him bandaged up without a trip to the ER. He is okay and to me that is a very good thing. Old people can be a challenge.

Oh yeah, and it's not snowing again... yet.
