Anyone hear of the Telfar Bag?  It was an obscure black owned company till Beyonce dropped the name in a song.  Then kind of expoloded in popularity.  They only make shopping bags in vegan leather.  Some are expensive (inflation)  A medium size one costs $202.00.  The sizes are small medium and large.  All colors.  QVC missed the gravy train when they didn't pick this company

I've never heard of them, so I checked them out. Really nothing to write home about. No organization other than one zippered pocket on the inside and then a vast hole to put your stuff in.  I don't know, I'm not too impressed.  Maybe they look better in person?

I know about them. I see them as a fad. Nothing special. Not my cup of tea.

Yeah. I heard about them.  Many of the bags are selling out.

A vinyl made-in-China logo shopping bag that comes in three sizes, many pretty colors and is overpriced. Exactly the kind of item I would never purchase.

Yes. I have heard of this affordable luxury brand.  The designer of this brand would never in a million years partner with a shopping channel.  While it isn't a particularly expensive brand, the exclusivity is about availability.  Everyone wants one because few people can get one.  They were avaible on Telfar website at noon today.  I'm not interested but both my daughters have the midsized that they purchased pre-owned through a website.  I was going to see how fast they sold out but I was out and when I checked around 1:30, they were gone baby gone.

I have to mention....why is the person in the picture wearing her bag on her backside? I know it is "the style." Does anyone realize how easy it is to grab the bag when worn this way, especially if you are not paying attention.

@songbird   I appreciate your post.  I'm always looking for vegan products.  Vegan leather comes in different qualities so you can't make a general comment about the faux leather....some are great and others not so.  I'm definitely going to check this out...not interested in the "fad" appeal....but always interested in less cruelty.

I have a Japanese sourced bag with smileys on it.  Very tacky!  3 for around  $30 at Nordstroms.  People smile when they see the smileys, but this is not a bag with structure or inner pockets or anything like that.  It's a friendly little sack.
