I happen to like tameron hall, do not like it they fired her,they just lost me,won't be watching.

I posted something yesterday from ET Online that said she was going to do something else on the network. Come to find out that's not true and she's leaving the NBC family all together (including MSNBC).

Now, I've read that she's somewhat of a Diva. Don't know if that's true but it would not surprise me. I preferred her when she had her show on MSNBC anyway.

I enjoyed watching Tamron when I happened to catch her NBC show. I liked her more so when she did a regular news show. If she chose to refuse an offer made by NBC, I don't think any less of her for it. Her pride meant more to her than money. Apparently, she has a nice bank account to hold her over until a new gig comes her way.

I think Megan Kelly is going to be a let down for NBC. I see more negative posts and articles about her than positive. The 9am show had been #1 for the last 7 weeks, though. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

@goldensrbest, They did not fire Tamron Hall. She chose to leave. No telling where she will land now though.

@DiAnneMedia reports say her contract was up for renewal and she declined the new deal. That could just be an NBC "cover" story to help her save face, maybe even at her lawyer's request. But, I have to think, if Tamron Hall had strong ratings numbers and the network was confident she could hold her own against Megyn Kelly's draw, they would have found another solution. Of course, to afford Megyn Kelly, they needed to make cuts elsewhere and ratings matter in that world.

I'm sure Tamron Hall will land on her feet--she's got talent.

It could be a cover story and it could be the truth @GraceCO. We'll never know.

Well, if she quit then i would say she has something else lined up,i also thought she did a good job sitting in for lester,i like both of them.

I might tune in to see how the show will be revamped but I'm finding it hard to see how Kelly will fit in.

Tamron may read some of a news report but she is certainly able to delve further with her questions and vast knowledge of events and issues. The Today job was light news. She is more than capable with hard news and factual reporting.

Putting her down for her journalistic abilities is very unfair imo.

I agree with her not known for her journalism. I think she picked it up on the job. She's very comfortable on the camera and yes..reads very well. She also did some "hosting" of crime series. I also think she did some other TV work for the Own channel. I'm sure they will find something else for her on another network. She's the polar opposite of Kelly. Kelly has a "hard edge" to her. Don't know how she will do on NBC though. NBC took a big gamble with Megyn Kelly.
