I saw a thing on this crime, some time back, and IIRC it sounded like they finally had enough evidence on that one friend of his (sorry, I forgot his name) that they were going to be able to indict him. But then I never heard, or have forgotten, where that went.

I remember that, too, and I tried to find out for this thread if anyone had been charged, and they haven't yet. The main focus was on his friend John Carpenter (not the director) but he hasn't been charged.

Why not? Just because he's on a network that you don't like? I hear that he writes in conjunction with another author on his Killing books (he's written several). I don't think he's trying to rewrite history; he just wants to write an entertaining and factual book. Besides, Kennedy's exploits were well known, even back then, albeit underreported, but it was a different time back then.

It's because he's not a historian and I just have a personal distaste for all "pop history". Most of it is a poorly rehashed compilation of other people's work. As I said, I haven't read any of the "killing" books, nor will I. I do ready trashy novels though.
