That tracker just can't be accurate, since I saw Santa last night. Yes, I did.

Our local firefighters literally covered their truck in lights, slowly driving through the neighborhood, giving Santa a ride on the back.

It was so unexpected, beautiful and downright wonderful. Then I spotted the five year old twin girls two houses down. They were ecstatic, jumping higher than I ever thought a five year old could.

Joy was in the air, but seeing the kids made me a little teary-eyed. They've faced a lot of changes this year, too.  A lot they don't fully understand. They're searching for joy and I'm glad they got a taste of it last night.  Xmas will be challenging for so many of them this year.

You couldn’t have seen Santa because he was riding on a fire truck in suburban Buffalo this AM! It was so cool! I think I was more excited than the children!

Re: TRACKING SANTA!!!

[ Edited ]

Hello!  Your replies made me smile.  From 2006-2010, we lived in Front Royal, VA (basically the intersection of I66 and I81), a town of 15,000.  Every Christmas Eve, the VFD would drive through Harmony Hallow, where we lived, with Santa riding on the back of the Hook & Ladder.  We'd always wave from our deck.  It was a wonderful experience!  Thank you for reminding me!
