Wow, when I opened my front door this Morning, it was covered with packages !  There was a package from .Greater Good that I ordered so long ago, that I forgot about it, ( adorable ornaments  ) .  Gifts for me that I was sure wouldn't come in time for Christmas 😻.  Then Packages from Walmart and Amazon that weren't expected till after the holidays !  These delivery folks must be exhausted.

What a wonderful Christmas gift in itself!  God bless the delivery people. They deserve a few days off!

I agree it's got to be a pain jumping in and out of trucks and vans hundreds of times a day probably.  And some packages are large and/or heavy, too.  I've seen trucks (UPS mostly) with 2 occupants, I guess to help with lifting.

I can't let that stop me from ordering though!

There are plenty of occupations that I cringe when I think of them working in the elements or in dangerous situations or purely hard work (builders, roofers, ironworkers, utility workers, etc.).

Under the circumstances I think USPS and other delivery companies have done an outstanding job getting every possible parcel delivered.

The only item I did not receive was not a gift- it was for me ordered from Macy's dot com. UPS warned weeks ago that Macy's was one of the e-tailers from whom they would not be picking up. Indeed, that's exactly what has happened with my beauty order. No problem for me, but for anyone who ordered gifts from Macy's to be delivered via UPS it would seem that there are going to be some very disappointed people.

ETA: I had 2 bags from QVC delivered early today and an item from HSN that was not expected until next week.

Due to putting on some pandemic pounds, I decided to take advantage of the sale prices (50% off) from Kut and to my complete amazement they shipped them 2nd day air and will be arriving today!!  So much effort for a stay at home person right now.....feel bad about their added efforts for someone who is not currently going out a lot...but happy too.  Maybe can put a smile on my face in light of the fact I am now a little porker whose clothes don't fit properly.  Woman Surprised

I received my new clothes today as scheduled from Kut and my new size fits me perfectly and I don't look fat...just in the pants of my other size.  Which goes to show you never try to squeeze in something that no longer fits because you'll look fat.  You won't look fat in the next bigger size.  Woman LOL

I bought the Diana cords in brown sugar, pinecone and date.
