THIS MADE ME LAUGH

[ Edited ]

A friend sent this to me and it made me laugh out loud. It just might be true...

                     If we all switched to

                     cursive and stick shift

                             vehicles

                         we could cripple

                      an entire generation.

The moving finger writes; And having writ, Moves on: nor all your Piety nor Wit Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line Nor all your Tears Wash out a Word of it. Omar Khayam

Not only do I still drive a stick because I enjoy the driving experience, but I also figure it significantly lowers my chances of a car theft or hijacking!Man Surprised

@Spurt ...I have a sister who lives in another State...She always texts about everything rather than just leaving it to short messages or replies....She will actually go into long conversations...I try to tell her that texting is just for short messages and that thing called the telphone...lol...is much more convenient and relaxing  for longer conversations.

She doesn't listen and just continues texting....She will even have arguments with me texting ...It is so ridiculous!...I just ignore them and she gets even more mad!...lol

I call her and tell her...."Okay, now let's have a more mature articulate conversation about this over the telephone...Stop being such a texting coward!"...lolol

I don't even know what that means.  I get that it's knock on younger people but it's not ver effective since our schools never stopped teaching cursive, everyone of every age can read and write in cursive and whether or not you can drive stick shift has absolutely nothing to do with one's generation.  I'm almost 60 and I can't drive stick shift.  Never could.  Never would.

@chrystaltree, many schools no longer teach cursive.  It was part of Common Core.

I'm 51 and can drive a stick shift and have been able to since my early 20's and my sister can as well but most older people in my family, including my parents, never could.
