@JeanLouiseFinch With all of the storm-related stress that you are dealing with, you probably missed the part where I said, "Once safety issues are dealt with." I know that there are many safety issues - and beyond - but did not detail them. I was responding to what to me is the non-issue of "boredom" during an electric outage.

Bad storm tore through downstate Illinois this afternoon.  Lots of damage from a microburst in Bloomington/Normal area.  Illinois State University has no power and damage to at least one hospital there.

 

Lots of tree damage and street flooding.
