Heads up.  For those of you who have the app, you might want to delete it .  There's a class action lawsuit in Illinois that's been filed.  It says the app collects more info than it needs and more than it discloses.

Bear in mind, its sister app Pinduoduo was caught planting malware. It was spying on other apps, reading notifications and messages and changing user's settings.

The cheap deals ain't worth it.

@Pezzie

Thank you....isn't this a China-owned app ?

It is my understanding that it's a China owned company.

@Pezzie  Fortunately, we had plenty of forewarning about this site so I've never been on it but it sure is tempting.

I've been shopping with them and I'm not going to stop. The values and huge selection of merchandise are just too good.  I bought quite a few sweaters and sweatshirts at unbelievablely prices.  Excellent fit and quality.  I'm sure their clothing is made in the same factories that all the shopping channel clothing designers buy from. They just have their own labels seen in.  Last week I bought some Christmas decor and decorations.  Actually a lot.  I'll share with my sister.  I use a debit card that is not connected to my bank and I use PayPal.  Every app and website we use collect information on us.  I love to shop and I'm getting great stuff and saving tons of money.

I think the security concerns go far beyond financial issues. Aren't many of these type apps and websites also suspected of finding a way into contacts, text, and emails looking to steal intellectual property?

They can look all they want but I don't have any intellectual properties in my emails. 😂.
