I have not heard of this app, until I came across this article.

I have no interest in it, but thought other posters might want to know.  A heads up,of sorts.

Just the word Chinese would keep me away.

Sounds like a good place to avoid.

Customer reviews on TrustPilot are very polarized. Makes me wonder if it's a safe place to shop.

Re: TEMU SHOPPING APP

[ Edited ]

One of my friends uses it. She loves it. She didn't mention any problems. It didn't interest me. I have more than enough places to shop.

I saw the TEMU app but  another app previously scammed me.  My trust had been shattered.  The offer on my "scam app" was too good to be true.... neon suitcases at extremely low prices.  Never came and I was send a tracking number saying it was delivered.  So  when I saw TEMU out of concern, I just delete it.

I did manage to get my money back from my credit card company almost immediately, but not willing to go through THAT again.

@Pezzie

Thanks for the info. I've been tempted to order a couple times- glad I didn't.

I've never even heard of it.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@Pezzie  Thanks for the info! I clicked on one of the Temu ads a few weeks ago, and now the ads are dogging me everywhere. So tiresome!
