@Plaid Pants2

Water is my favorite beverage so that would be my choice. I don't consume sugars or artificial sugars.

Water or unsweet tea, extra ice!  I simply cannot stand sweet tea.  BUT about once a week I have a real  COKE!

Drinking tea is better for us than water.  There have been other studies that show the same thing.

TIME magazine reports on the BBC reported study:

“Drinking tea is actually better for you than drinking water,” Dr. Carrie Ruxton, a nutritionist and the lead author of the study told the BBC. “Water is essentially replacing fluid. Tea replaces fluids and contains antioxidants so it’s got two things going for it.”

Those antioxidants — specifically flavanoids — can reduce damage done to cells through everyday living, so researchers believe these same compounds may help to ward off heart attacks and some types of cancer. Reported the BBC:

They found clear evidence that drinking three to four cups of tea a day can cut the chances of having a heart attack.

Some studies suggested tea consumption protected against cancer, although this effect was less clear-cut.

Other health benefits seen included protection against tooth plaque and potentially tooth decay, plus bone strengthening.

I drink tea morning, noon and night.  Sometimes one cup of coffee at lunch for a treat.  I've grown to like ice water.

I love the Trader Joe's green tea with blueberry to drink cold. I have 30 calorie a cup Almond Milk for breakfast with high fiber cereal.

I don't drink milk or soda, haven't for years.  Actually, I never liked soda very much.  I did have a taste of sweet tea once to see what it was like.
