@Venezia Got the pop up, closed it. I don't do surveys and sure not from Q.

@Love my grandkids.  You don't hesitate to accept the Q's  hospitality to post here though.

@Kachina624  The terms of use to for the forums don't require answering the survey. Oh you are always so gracious to your fellow posters. 🙄

@Pearlee.  Nobody said anything about the terms of use.  However, good manners dictate that you don't disparage your host.  You probably didn't realize that since you're unfamiliar with the concept of good manners.

I would miss it here very much.

Having worked in high up positions in the corporate world for 40 years, it's exactly why they are doing the survey.

@CalminHeart

If QVC is re-considering keeping the forums open, I wonder if they'd also poll users to see if they'd PAY a monthly fee to use them.

This came to mind because their shipping costs are a good income stream, and we know they need the money.

I wonder if the users here would pay $5 or $10 a month to continue to use these message boards.

I would not pay to access these forums as they are today.

I doubt I'd pay even if restrictions and rules were loosened.

Q could try but really can't have it both ways.

I agree with you @CalminHeart There are many other online communities where people can chat at no cost, so there are other options.

Yes, seriously.  QVC has had to process returns as a result of things that have happened here in this community.  Boycotting has been an effective form of protest in this country, so I think it's an interesting approach.

@1tuffcookie

Sorry, but that sounds ridiculous.

Just so we can understand this claim ... do you know actually someone who works in the QVC Returns Department?

If not, your claim is based merely on heresay or speculation on yor part.

@Tinkrbl44 I'm not basing this on heresay or speculation.  I know it as fact, and I really don't care what you think of me, especially since you're one of the posters who has driven so many away from here.

@1tuffcookie

Oh please .....  HOW do you know this to be a "fact"?

If you have a legitimate or verifiable source, why can't you come up with something that can be checked?

Based on your claim, it's a fair question.

Anyone who has managed or worked in retail or customer service knows what she said is true. The topic is on real news several times during the year.

Many sites report that nearly 50% of people are boycotting at least 1 company because of political or social positions.

I do it. There are several companies I never go to because of it. Why would I want to fund their hate, bigotry, misogyny, etc, while they happily accept federal and/or state welfare.

You can find details online if you want. Now, give it a rest.

If I decide to return any items, I'll be sure to mention you as one of the reasons.

🤣

You are making my previous point about those who allegedly return things due to the forums.

All I've done is question your theories.  You, on the other hand, have attacked several people personally - on this thread alone.

Interesting to say the least..

The entire "returns theory" makes no sense to me whatsoever.  I just don't get it.

And same goes for the “boycotting theory”. Until you have an hypotheses all these theories are just general explanations with no merit. 🥱😴

Re: Survey on Blogs and Forums

I wish they would remove that darn survey. Pops up everytime I log in even though I have already answered the survey on a previous day.
