@cheriere  Exactly! If no one is buying or finding helpful information, then they may opt to discontinue them. It seems like every day someone is complaining about something about the Q. Maybe they're tired of it. I for one, find helpful information on here. And yes, it does help me to purchase from their website. 


 

I know.  I sure hope everyone decides to fill it out.  I've made many more purchases since becoming a member here than I ever did before.

Reviews, I don't put much stock in.  Here though, I can count on helpful recommendations.💝🌸


@cheriere  Right?! Me too! To those who won't take the survey, or answer it in a negative fashion....then don't complain if the Q takes down the forums. They want to see that it's helpful for revenue. It makes sense to me. I use the forums, it helps me a lot, and I hope my survey reflects that.

Lately so many threads have been locked or removed completely in Community because of off- topic arguments, links, bashing hosts, and general whining about shipping, decline in quality, etc.

 

It is not a stretch that this forum may go away but others dealing strictly with Q products will remain.

 

Yes this forum is not exclusive to all negative postings but it would not surprise me if this one, TV, and Among Friends etc. may not survive.

 

The Q may just want to remain about products.

@Wayne-QVC If we get a message like this after we submit the community survey, did it actually submit?  If not, how do we get it to reset to give us another chance to fill it out?

I got it earlier today.  Was in a rush, so skipped it. 

now I'd like to fill it out if I can.    I am one of those people (increasingly rare, I think) who shops here more than I post here.  I'd like to see the forums stay, even if I'm not here too often anymore.

Well you know what?!

It popped up on my phone this time and I filled it out and got the same "authentication

failed."

I tried again by backspacing, filled it out again and it said there was an error and said contact your administrater with an error code.

Tried once more and it said my password doesn't match. But it had before and I checked it twice.

I even put the 6 items I bought this past month after reading about them on here!

So I think I give up!

Thank you @1tuffcookie, for paging Wayne.

They should ask about the many glitches in the website though the last survey I filled out did.

Oh well, I tried.

They are probably going to change/get rid of the forums as we know it, based on the answers they get.

 

One of the questions asked if I was going to make a purchase because of my visit to the forums.

 

I see many people say they don't buy from QVC and haven't for years. They just "hang out" here.

 

I'm sure it's pointless for QVC to run a forum that doesn't help generate sales.

I got the survey and said yes that being here does help me to decide on making a purchase many times.

 

I understand that if I said no and everyone else does too, then they will close the boards down.  Makes sense to me but I really do get tips on purchases here.

Most likely seeing if what it costs them to run this forum still justifies in part by seeing how many are regular customers.   JMO, of course.

I tried what you said to sign out but also clear cookies history etc then sign back in and right away the survey came up-this time again on my computer. And this time it went through!

I had signed out before and back in but it was this and clearing cookies etc that did it!
