I saw a Klimt exhibit in '07 at the Neue Galerie in NYC! It included his actual furnished reception room!

Bet you're thanking the universe, JSS, for the good fortune of decent skin and hair.

Happy Birthday Ford......you brave soul you. Glad it is calm in your home once again.

Hey, I have my 75th coming up in the near future.....maybe I should get a picture taken on that day and get my friend to post it on here for me. I'll warn you, I don't look as good as you do though. But, remember, the pictures of my little Mr. Lucky are real, and he is all mine.....

I would love to see that. But please take dooBdoo's (and some others) warnings into consideration. They feel it's very dangerous.

I don't see the difference between people posting photos here when millions post photos and much more on their Facebook and other social media all the time.

Big difference. We post on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc., with our actual name, the others on those sites have real names, and we know them in real life. We link ourselves to them because they're a known entity. This is far different. However, if any of us do have our photos on other websites, there's plenty of free software that would allow us to take a poster's photo here and start matching it up with their images on those other social media sites, as well as matching up to images that have been published in news articles, church or community sites, etc., and suddenly we have their real name, location, family, friends, etc.

eta: Also, many posters are unaware of the digital information, some of which is personal, contained in photos they post.

Gustav Klimt, my favorite artist. I have seven of his prints.

Oh, he was one of my DH's favorites, too, Ford. He bought a lovely silk scarf for me, depicting "The Kiss," and had it framed. So pretty.

Oh wow, I envy you!! Imagine a man appreciating this wonderful (if controversial) artist. You are lucky indeed. I have the full version of "The Tree of Life" over my love seat in the living room.

It's a beautiful scarf, the full-length version. Yes, I was very, very blessed to have him in my life.

You just gave me a huge lump in my throat. (((dooBdoo))) {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Thanks for the hugs, Ford. I was lucky.

Such a gorgeous photo! And you are brave for posting...I know a few others who have done so in the past, and although I thought they were also beautiful ladies...some of the remarks weren't so nice.

Thanks for the hugs, Ford. I was lucky.

I had two husbands and did not have good luck with either of them. I had one ten-year relationship starting at age 42 (he was ten years younger). Age didn't make a difference then, but it did ten years later when I went into menopause. He couldn't handle it and I had to let him go. I broke his heart and I hate that. That's when I decided no more men.

I saw some very hurtful remarks directed at a poster on the Fashion forum who just shared some photos of what she was wearing. I thought she looked wonderful but she was mercilessly attacked.

There is a poster here.....another very pretty poster like Ford, who shared pictures of her husband and herself. She was also someone who had to endure some unkind comments.{#emotions_dlg.sad}

I expected the remarks and know most of them mean well. But my stuff is on Facebook anyway, so it makes little difference, it's already out there.
