This problem is caused by QVC's website software -- just about every time they make changes to the site we see similar problems and we can keep deleting cookies/cache/website data or switch browsers, or just wait for the site and our browsers to finally get back into a better "conversation" with each other. The way they place the troubleshooting burden on their customers, with the expectation for everyone to consider a sub-standard problem-laden website acceptable, is bad policy and careless public relations. It's beyond understanding that a corporation as prominent as QVC would continue to be satisfied with such inferior web design and management which not only makes the forums hard to use but, more importantly, also costs them sales.

It is an issue with QVC not with our individual browsers

Technically, it’s both... but the poor website design is the cause.

I have never seen that. Odd. Trust me, I'm here often! I'm sure it is frustrating.

I got it again a short time ago (no I haven't attempted the clearing of the cookies yet). It was basically the same wording but that number thingy had changed.

I did a complete house cleaning and still got that message. Apparently there's no mod working today. They need to tell the Californians why they can't place orders, among other things.

@shaggygirl . I've suddenly gotten the same message several times on my laptop since yesterday!
