Re: Subscription Boxes-Have any of you heard about this?

The $10 cost mentioned...does that include shipping? Ten is the total cost?

Yes!and from what I have witnessed you receive at least 8x or more the cost in product.

Re: Subscription Boxes-Have any of you heard about this?

I subscribe to Birchbox -- $10/month. I answered a few questions about my beauty preferences (i.e. how often I'd like to get perfume samples; importance of nail polish). I like getting the box, and share it with my teenaged daughter. The perfume sample that they just sent (Joan Voss) is great, and I ordered a full size. Not sure how long I'll keep this, but it's fun to get some treats.

Re: Subscription Boxes-Have any of you heard about this?

ipsy is one of them that I subscribe to and it really isn't tailored to your likes I mean, if that were the case, I would never get false eyelashes!! lol

However, I do think they are trying to improve their matches, but it is slow going. They do give you your money's worth plus some, time & time again. I trade a lot with my fellow ipsters - what is one person's nightmare is another person's joy - I was even able to trade those false eyelashes!!

My favorites right now are

Yuzen box (this is a quarterly box)

Saffron Rouge Inner Circle

Starlooks Starbox (last month was pretty blah, but I was able to sell it on ebay - it wasn't BAD, but I already own a ton of red lip products and black eyeliner)

eco-emi

I subscribe to several others, but the above 4 subs, I've been really happy with. They do cost more than 10.00, however.

I think I've heard these subscriptions mentioned here. I would hesitate to spend too much per month not knowing what would be in the box.

scottie, try Ipsey...you take a survey of your preferences, colors, skin type etc. and can join and spend as little as 10 dollars. The box is worth much more then the cost.

Sounds like fun Croemer.

One thing I will say about BB is that their point system is great. If you review the items, you get 50 points, which is 5.00 - so your box comes out to 5.00. I always loved redeeming them for stuff i really wanted from their site.

I still buy things from their online shop because of the point system there. A lot better than Sephora's point system, I can tell you!! However, I do love me some Sephora - I will make VIBR again this year {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

I subscribed to Bark Box, Conscious Box and Julep. I cancelled all three for different reasons.

Even though I didn't like the other subscription boxes I think want to try Skoshbox, snacks straight from Japan {#emotions_dlg.w00t}
