For me, working out and listening to music is my escape and my lift from just about anything and everything that troubles me.
Today, I had on 80's music - The Pretenders, The Cars, The Cranberries, Tom Petty, and on and on and I ended up dancing around the floor in between sets of lunges and rows and presses and this one just made me smile so much.

I just came inside from having my very own dance party. Was listenig to the 80's on Sirius/XM. They were on a roll and so many good songs were on. Taking Care of Business has always been a favorite to dance to, and I always yell along with them. Today it felt really good to do that! Music and dancing has always been a stress reliever for me...and I still like to turn it way up!

A great stress releif is time to myself. I also enjoy time with hubs and family and will be able to be with family more in the near future.
Exercise for me has been going to the gym and walking. During our stay safe time, I'm walking and pulled out our row machine we kept in the basement. Stretching is terrific and so is meditation time. Pandora music stations and audio books/novels are wonderful. For some reason I've been in the mood for either Peter Paul and Mary station or Gladys Knight and Al Green. Hubs listens to Zack Brown, which is also good.
At this time, getting text or emails from friends is terrific.

Whenever I want to bust a move (and scare DH) I punch up my favorite youtube that I've posted before. If you like loud music (turn it up!) and GREAT dance moves you must check out "The Dancing Cadet". My favorite dancer ever! Dancing starts about 5 minutes into the video (his roomate caught him) and this fella has some great moves to a great tune.Everybody dance now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8S68Rl-N1Gg&t=386s

Reading while listening to classical music and petting my pup.
I'm not doing my exercise walking (daily 3.5 miles) right now because of the difficulty with social distincing here. So I actually take a 20 minute uninterruped walk in my house, utilizing the stairs a lot.
I know, I know. It sounds bonkers. The pup looks at me as if I'm nuts.

A few weeks ago, every day when our Governor gave our update, a reporter would ask why liquor stores were still open (only essential services open here) and the Governor kinda looked at him like,
"Dude"
I love Gov. Beshear. He tells it like it is and is steady as a rock.
