You have a new card anyway, I'd get another one. It's just a phone call.

I wouldn't see it as a good omen.

This is intriguing and I went to see what Google had to say....

The credit card and the SSN both have an array of four numbers which can only have a finite number of combinations.

So the odds are 0.01% for each set of card and SSN.

Growing up our home phone number ended in the same 4 numbers as my ssn.

My grandmother's address and phone number were the same 4 numbers.

My neighbor now is the same numbers as my grandmother's.  The world works in mysterious ways.

Meanwhile, my credit card was hacked 90 minutes after being on the phone with them yesterday.  Coincidence???? One will never know!

Coincidence probably but I would simply ask for another card.  Better to have unique numbers just because in this day and age and it's no trouble to get a new card.

Years ago, the driver's license numbers in the state I grew up in was our SSN.  We wrote it on every check we wrote, attached to our names and addresses.

@KittySoftPaws It's an unlikely coincidence, but nothing that you need to do anything about.

Maybe not, but quite often I am asked to give the last four digits of my SS#, it the full number. I am a firm believer in being safe, not sorry, so I would request a new card. I am old, and I am not as patient as I once was with hassles, though, I admit, lol. I prefer easy over hassle.

Paranoid me would probably call and request a new card.  I work for a bank and we go through so much security training that this would trigger me greatly.  LOL!
