I had to come back here when I remembered this  ... years ago, one of my sisters' co-workers bought a new car and it had the last 4 digits of her SS# on the license plates!  

Again ... even if someone knew what it meant, what could they do with it?

That would freak me out! I'm a sceptic about signs and what-not but I would think it was a sign of something and hope it was a good something....

Sometimes from card skimmers at ATMs or gas pumps and even other places where skimmers are used. Using public wi-fi is another way.

@KittySoftPaws  - As someone who has had her bank card compromised, I would definitely request another card. I would just tell them some of the numbers on the account number of the card make me uncomfortable. They don't have to know anything else.

Not long ago, I was at a red light and saw the license plate on a car in front of me ... it had the numbers 666 in the grouping.

I'm not superstitious, but I would have taken the time and trouble to get a different number ... just because.

I have a beautiful hand stitched quilt that is numbered.  I looked at it for about a year, but it was expensive. I first saw it in a catalog.

One day, I came accross the quilt at an outlet store and it was marked way down, so I grabbed it quickly before it got away.

When I got it fully opened at home, I noticed the number 666 on the ribbon sewed on one corner.  That is why I am guessing I got such a wonderful price on it.

My husband said I'd be sleeping with the devil in our bed.  It didn't bother me.  I love the quilt.

I don't believe in coincidences either.  If this had happened to me, I think it would freak me out too.  After hemming and hawing about it for several days I would probably call the credit card company and ask for another new card.  

So much fraud out there.

The odds must be astronomical for this to happen.  Perhaps it is a good omen?

Makes you want to go back to college and try an advanced statistics class.  The first was a lot of fun for me.
