@godi

That is an incredible photo!  A little scary too.

It reminds me of an El Greco painting showing

the skies over Toledo, Spain.

@godi    That's a beautiful picture.  We have been experiencing severe thunderstorms in a hit or miss situation.  Ten miles away a big storm but right here nothing if you get the picture.  I am so sick of this humid weather.  You cannot enjoy the summer when it is so humid.

@godi  Wow. Would it be possible for you to print this picture and frame it?

@Sage04   I was just thinking the same. It would be wonderful enlarged and framed. What a focal point. @godi    Your pictures are always fantastic. Stay safe.

If that's from your deck, you've got an amazing view.  Yeah, we've been getting storms every evening but the mid west is getting blasted.  This daggone heat wave but a cold front is moving through.

I've seen the sky like this by us too.  Pretty scary.

Re: Storm warning.

[ Edited ]

To all who asked we are ok. It was windy and heavy rains. I never heard thunder like that in my life. This is off my deck. We had tree branches down some stuff knocked over. We took everything off the deck thank goodness the wind was hitting the back of the house like a freight train. That is a westerly view. This is in Pa.  More storms tonight. We are just keeping our deck furniture in for now. Hope everyone else is ok. This weather across America sure is crazy.
And to those who asked maybe I should print and frame it. It is a powerful picture.

Looks like either a wall or shelf cloud!   Amazing how Mother Nature can be ominous yet beautiful.

Well I´m in Snellville Ga and we are having some thunder storms but no rain or lightening. Last night the electricity went out for a few seconds, but so far so good for now.

Everyone stay safe.

I'm in Ohio and we had crazy storms Wednesday night.  We lost power for a little over 6 hours but there are still people right now in the Cleveland area who don't have power and it has been very hot and humid here.  Some areas experienced 80+ mph winds.

Yesterday the southeast experienced some more bad storms and there is a possibility we will get storms again later this afternoon and then things are supposed to cool off and settle down.

@godi The "good" news is I don't see a wall cloud forming there to drop a tornado!
