Mine was deposited on the 31st at 8:30 am. So what's the difference? They should all have the same date on them.

Anyone else? I feel like I'm always on the naughty list.
@PickyPicky3 It is based on your income filed last time you filed... if you make more than the allotted amount your stimulus is prorated down... we never get the full amount either. We do not make THAT MUCH with retirement... but it is more income than the allotted amount for the full amount of stimulas

My opinion is to give the stimulus to those who have been out of work or had work hours cut because of all the shutdowns . I don't want to live through high inflation as we had in late 1970's and early 1980's. The interest rate on mortgages was 14% in my area. Car loans were outrageous to . It was hard back then to buy a 1st home .

Mine was deposited the day after they signed the bill. Surprised at how fast it came.

My sisters will get theirs before we do and another bragging I'll hear. LOL

@PickyPicky3 don’t know if this applies to you, but for people with incomes between 75,000 and 98,999,;there’s a reduction in the amount of stimulus If that’s you, I assume you can find info online to explain your amount. If it’s not the reason, I can’t think of any reason unless you already owed the government money.

I sure hope mine will be a direct deposit.....this is what happened the last stimulus check to me....IRS and Social Security had all the correct information aka bank account, address...for some reason and I still cannot figure it out as I called and they verified every thing was correct (IRS and SS) and for some dumb reason they mailed me a paper check....still nobody can give me an answer why they mailed it....it still boggles me, but I am so grateful...did come way later and was very much needed....hopefully I will see a direct deposit this time ![]()

I don't think that's so. My bank just emailed me that we can expect our deposits starting the 4th of January. I recall that the first Economic Impact Payment was rolled out over several weeks. I got mine April 29th, which was both later than and sooner than some people here did.
There are direct deposits, paper checks, and debit cards. The DD is first, then paper checks and debit cards, from what I read on the IRS website.
