DD and I were on You Tube last night watching videos of people reacting to artists or songs for the 1st time.

DD said, "Mom, you need to watch Disturbed do Sound of Silence".

My reply was, "what the he** is Disturbed?" She said it was a heavy metal band and I said no thanks. She doesn't like it either but heard of this performance on Conan.  I am so glad I listened to her.

David Draiman is the singer. What a voice. DD said he trained as a cantor as a child.

Google Conan, Disturbed Sound of Silence. This guy has an amazing voice.

Yes!!!  I saw the video months ago and was so moved by his voice and the scenes in the video.  Phenominal rendition of the classic song.  Very moving and well done!

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I love the orginal....and can honestly say I love this cover equally.  He brought a lot of depth and power to that performance!

I find Disturbed’s version far more powerful and 30 seconds I’m tears from the feels.
