Help is on the way. Today the president signed an executive order to streamline delivery of the stimulus checks for those who have not recieved them. The treasury department and the IRS were directed to take on this task. There also will be a portal set up to check the status. At least someone understands how important this money is for those in need. It's a step in the right direction and something is being done about it. Sure hope it helps. I recieved my check direct deposit the first week of January.

@SharkE I believe this is for tracking those who did not receive the past checks, but going forward it should help to identify those who do not get further checks if it passes.

We had our stimulus check last year direct deposited but we haven't received any this year yet. I went on the IRS GetMyPayment site and it says it will be deposited on April15,2021. We are retired and do not have to do tax returns anymore due to our income. I have a CPA that told us in 2019. I think that is why ours will be later but it has my bank last 4 digits correct. If anyone does this be sure to put your social security number in with no - in between and your address as E. 22 Willow St ( not East 22 Willow Street) to go through (example not my address) or it won't find it. I had to do several times before I figured it out.

Under verification it states why it can't be tracked if you don't see a date of deposit or check sent. It tells you why.

I thought it was funny we never got it. It does say by showing date that it is coming though.

Our debit card is here today! Informed USPS delivery email shows it in today's mail. So all of you waiting like I have been KNOW IT IS GOING TO COME. Last time we received a check....this time the debit card. Does not matter. YEA!

Thought I would wait a week & see if it shows up. If I get it I owe $400 roughly, if not I get $157 refund lol.

If you need to know about the letter go to the IRS.gov website there is a picture of it. This stimulus check has caught IRS in their transition season and because of it tax season is beginning delayed until Feb 12th. Some checks were mailed to the banks and certain banks returned these checks for other reasons. Especially those who had their taxes done professionaly. I get calls all day about these checks and we can't figure it out. The reason for the debit card was because some banks would put a hold on the checks for 5 to 10 working days before you can access the money, my bank did that luckly I didn't need it at the time. There will be another one so hopefully they will do this one better but they are making the same mistakes all over again.

So....only received one card in MY name for $600.... I would think DH should also receive one as our income for 2019 was under the income limit for married joint income. His does not show having been mailed....confused.
