! Stand Up To Cancer--Reminder

Just a reminder that Tuesday, Feb 4 is World Cancer Day. Stand up, participate any way you can, or contribute anything that you can.

As always, Stand Up To Cancer (dba EIF) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Have you made your contribution? {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Just tried to check the charity out on Charity Navigator. What comes up is something about the Entertainment Industry headed up by Sherry Lansing.

Do not require a special day in order to contribute to cause(s) that are important to each one of us. Being that you are who you are, giving I am sure is your middle name.

Please give or learn here.

And please don't wait until it's too late to learn more...

"Esophageal tumors usually lead to dysphagia (difficulty swallowing), pain and other symptoms, and are diagnosed with biopsy. Small and localized tumors are treated surgically with curative intent. Larger tumors tend not to be operable and hence are treated with palliative care; their growth can still be delayed with chemotherapy, radiotherapy or a combination of the two. In some cases chemo- and radiotherapy can render these larger tumors operable. Prognosis depends on the extent of the disease and other medical problems, but is generally fairly poor."
