My goodness Honey!  That snow is quite a shock with my budding Wild Cherry and Frazier Fur trees!

Please be careful.  I hope you don't lose power!

Your little love nugget looks like she is having fun.  Shadow loves to sprint all over the yard and kick up snow!

Stay warm!

We just got a dusting here this morning but nothing like what you got. wow!

As I right this there is high winds blowing here. It's so bad that I won't leave the house or take a bath...LOL! Praying that my fence and trees don't topple over.

@SilleeMee    Just a slight breeze here but the snow has all but disappeared.  Fell off the trees in clumps.  The sky is cloudless, bright blue with shining sun.

This burst of snow overnight developed South of Santa Fe and came down the West side of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho then dissipated.  A weird weather phenomenon.  The canyon wind that often blows snow away didn't materialize.

@ECBG    That's my boy pup.  My girl was on the covered patio not wanting to get her paws wet and cold.

What a lovely photo!!!  I always love when the snow first falls and covers everything.  I am more of a fall and winter person , two seasons I look forward to.  Thanks for sharing such a picturesque scene !

Something like burst of snow you got happened here many years ago. It never showed up on radar and the storm just dumped a foot of snow just over the city and nowhere else. It happened in late May. The shaded areas under my trees had snow there until June. Freak storm out of the blue and it was gone just as fast as it got here but left a ton of snow.

NO NO NO - when your evergreens are hanging low to the ground this is not at all pretty. It can damage your trees.

Better there than here!

Beautiful photo and did your doggie like the snow?
