I saw a big fat robin right there in the middle of all the snow this morning! She had some type of berry in her mouth and seemed quite content....hopefully this means that Spring is trying to join her!

I spotted several robins last week feasting on breakfast...since then we have had not one but two winter snowstorms.

It's too cold for birds around here. I'm ready for some spring.

Spring will start in April here in the Northeast. And that is not a rare thing.

Ford, I went shopping yesterday and all I could find was spring clothing. I was looking for a very warm robe and there were none even on clearance. So Spring has sprung in retail already!! Looking forward to leaving the house without boots, a heavy coat and gloves.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

In Ca, spring starts in winter. The trees have been blooming, and there were wildflowers on the side of the road weeks ago. I guess some would say we don't really have winter here, but if things go as they usually do, it may get cold again. Of course cold here means 60 degrees.

And the birds? They're here all year, in fact, they're outside the window right now teasing my little dog.

I always thought if you see a robin its a sign of Spring. Here in PA they said no that's not true because robins are around all year. So much for that.

We just had more snow and ice over night here in PA. The good news is its in the 30s today for once and not 0 or below 0. lol. But its getting cold again by tomorrow.

One year it snowed in Buffalo on Mother's Day.

I don't consider Spring to have arrived until Memorial Day here!

I don't consider it Spring until the leaves start coming back and I see some Blooms. Then there's hope...
