Re: Spring Snow Storm Thurs 3/14/24

Wow! That is a lot of snow. As a low desert dweller who doesn't see snow, except in the mountains above our valley, it is simply magical to behold. However, I don't have to shovel it or drive in it or worry that the power will go out. Be safe and thank you for the photo.

Re: Spring Snow Storm Thurs 3/14/24

Anytime snowstorms hit the Midwest, it heads to my state as rain.  We've had so much rain this past winter.  Today and yesterday we got breaks.  Gorgeous weather with plenty of sunshine.  Another bout of heavy rain is coming. Tomorrow thunderstorms.  Starting in May we will have a storm season.  Frequent thunderstorms though June.  Afterward they're still there but not as frequent. Inbetween though, beautiful days.

@rockygems123 My husband heard a report that this could be the largest snow storm of this season. Stay safe. Please give us an update when round 2 hits.

What a beautiful picture @rockygems123! It's only beautiful though if you don't have to go out in it.

It was almost 80 here today. I came home and put on a flannel shirt because we're taking care of a TNR colony older kitten who needed surgery. He is starting to trust us, and we would like to keep him.

Anyway, next week it should be back to the 40's.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to wear sandals until I get a pedicure next week.

Stay warm and safe!  Smiley Happy

It is beautiful.

Here in CT we've often gotten some of our biggest blizzards in March. So far, so good this year and these past couple years too. A picture came up on facebook the other day I think it was from maybe 2012...our cars were buried under about 3 feet of snow. I remember one of those storms the roads were closed for a week.

Good luck shoveling...take it slow! 🌨️❄️☃️

It's snowmageddon out there today. 😳

...and my snowblower guy is sick with covid...whaaaah!😫

I guess that leaves me to do the shovelling.😐

@rockygems123 - I just got home. I'm thinking of you and everyone else going through what seems to be a bigger storm than I thought. Stay safe and warm!

Dark and gloomy in southern WV, 58 degrees, with rain predicted for tonight bringing a major cool down.  Back to typical March temperatures next week.

@beach-mom

Thank you!  Our over a foot of snow was easily shoveled, team work with my 27 year old son, was quite shocking it went so quickly.

A lot melted today as it was in the 40's, Colorado is something else!
