@Enufstuff   Wow, green eyed girl is one of my favorites!  I'm Irish, and I love her clean, beautiful blonde hair.   I love the dress.  Perfect with the pink trim.  You brighten so many days with your Toni creations.  Really looking forward to your recreation, please post your childhood picture with your Toni.  Also looking forward to the holy communion Toni.  Your talent is amazing.  She was truly rescued!

I was in our May Crowning in first grade.  An eighth grader was always the May Queen.  My best friend in first grade and I were her attendants.  A great memory!

You're so welcome.😊. I remember when we were talking about this particular Toni doll.  I think you worked pretty fast getting both her and ths dress so nice.  That's quite an accomplishment!

Its not me with the beautiful green eyes lol.  Thats sportyshorty.  Mine are just really dark brown.  But, you're right, I'll bet she looks great in all shades of green.

I can't wait to see your Communion Toni.  I know she'll be a masterpiece too!💝💕🌸

@cheriere  Thank you, Cheriere! Its good to lift people up and thank you for rooting for me! Right? Green eyed Toni has such perfectly set, glossy hair with zero frizz! My hair is big, wavy and textured with lots of feathered layers- which I love, but gosh would it be nice to have hair that just sits perfectly like Toni's sometimes!   Smiley Very Happy

@Enufstuff - I remember years ago, doll collecting was very popular. Wasn’t Marie Osmond selling them? I had no idea until recently that there are actual doll conventions! Have you ever been to one?

@lynnie61   Thank you very much. I'm glad that you enjoyed seeing my Green Eyed Girl.

My children are Irish and French and my middle daughter has green eyes, as my mother did. She was very blonde when she was little, but her hair darkened as she got older. For many years, she has been coloring it red and she really looks Irish with her very light skin and freckles.

How wonderful that you were an attendant for the May Queen, when you were in first grade. That must have been so

special and such fun for you. That is a lovely memory.

@Natureluvr  Yes, doll collecting was very popular back when Marie Osmond and other vendors were selling all those porcelain dolls on QVC and HSN. I did buy some of those.

Those dolls that were sold on tv seem to not have much value now. It is the antique and vintage dolls that have value.

My mother collected antique and vintage dolls and I think that she went to a couple of doll conventions.

I never went to any doll conventions. I kept my Toni dolls, Ginny dolls and Madame Alexander dolls from childhood and was not a doll collector until after my mother passed away in 1990. Years ago, I read about Ginny doll conventions, but none were near where I live.

I have many of my mother's dolls and have purchased more Ginny dolls, Toni dolls and back in the 90's some of those porcelain dolls too.

People are still collecting and paying high prices for antique dolls and the the vintage Ginny dolls and Toni dolls. Some dolls from the 60's and 70's, like Barbie and Blythe are very collectible.

I'm not buying any more dolls, but I had to get that rare green eyed Toni. I had never even seen one before.
