Wow, @Enufstuff ,  I love the idea of a gifted artisan like you, rescuing Toni dolls for posterity!   What a stunning job you've done with her.  The choice of green for a green-eyed doll was spot on.  I love that particular shade too-  it's very flattering.

Another triumph!

       Thank you very much.

                  Even though this doll was in rough shape, she had such a pretty face and those green eyes just drew me in. She did clean up pretty good.

@haddon9 @Desert Lily   Thank you so much.

    As a girl of the 50s, Toni never ages. She always looks 8 years old.

      Wouldn't it be great if we stopped aging at 30? I think that is the perfect age to stay.

@Enufstuff

I am thrilled that Toni and I share green eyes.  However, I have brown hair to her blonde...but always wanted to be blonde!

If she was in bad shape when you got her, it doesn't show.  She is beautiful.  Her hair is really lovely.  Those little tiny, red lips seem ready to speak.

I'm just mad for the dress and all the details...green being  a favorite color of mine.  That color is especially soft and beautiful.

The shoes, socks and her little pink cheeks...she's a perfect little Toni.

Just precious!

@Witchy Woman   Thank you very much.

  Another green eyed girl! You must be lovely when you wear green to bring out your eye color.

 My mother had green eyes and blonde hair and her favorite color was green.

 My middle daughter is blonde with green eyes, but she colors her hair red. Her favorite colors are green and purple.

 When I got this green eyed Toni doll, I knew that she needed a green dress.

@EastCoastGal

           Today I started cutting out the dress which will be a re-creation of a dress that I wore when I was six years old.

The top will be pink nylon, trimmed with lace and the bottom, silk charmeuse in brown, with pink polka dots.

I'm glad that you enjoyed seeing my "Green

 Eyed Girl".  The pink and brown dress will be modeled by a brunette Toni doll.
