Three Kim Gravel waffle fabric tops. The neckline was not identified as bateau or boatneck or ballerina neck, but was too wide and showed my bra straps. I always had to wear another top underneath and I just got fed up with them. Bah.

I honestly have to say I have too many possessions, and I have been blessed in life to achieve and acquire most things I desired. I also have the space to keep a lot of them, and when I get rid of things, it is usually because I am ready to move on.
Of course, the death of pets is quite different, because they are part of one's family, so I cannot really say animal companions are in the same category as things I "get rid of.".
The most important thing is creating positive memories, and that can never be taken away from us!
As I write this I think of those in California who have lost everything, and I certainly wish them the best as they recover from that terrible catastrophe.

I feel your pain.
My husband ruined a very sentimental T-shirt I had over 25+ years. I got it at age 5 along with my brother and sister when my god parents and their 4 saughrers came to visit us at the shore. We all had matching tshirts for the beach. Wore it into my 20s. I had told my husband the story behind it didn't remember. Husband thought it was just an old t shirt so he ripped it up and used at to stain some wood.
I guess I still have the memories but my parents and god parents and two of their daughters are now gone. It would be nice to have that momento.

Ex husband. Regret not saying goodbye to him. He passed away. To be clear wouldn't want him back as living with me it's important to always for me to apologize for pain caused. In my situation left him he did not deserve the pain my leaving. He never was the same. Rip my sweet friend.

by growing up, my childhood was gone. Now, I'd love to have back a few of those days, to play and have all the neighborhood kids. Also family going to church and all that involved and that family of others.

I understand your emotional pain @I am still oxox
My mother passed 60 years ago, and I had her first baby doll with a china head. They didn't have dolls with plastic heads back when she was a little child.
During a move my DH dropped the doll ![]()
Years later my DH knocked over a shelf with my Hummel collection and all were broken. I was sad to lose these items that were precious to me. My examples are a little different from yours, because the keepsakes were lost due to an accident. I did forgive, but never forgot the emotional attachment. I hope, as time goes by, you may feel the same.

If my husband had discarded or distroyed something I treasured, I would do the same to whatever he treasured, no matter its value, twice over. Revenge is sweet.

Wow what an unhealthy way to conduct a marriage!

Can't think of anything. For me, once it's gone, it's gone.
I'm the same way....Out of Sight; Out of Mind.
