@I am still oxox   I'm with you.  I have family with immune compromised issues and none of us are in a panic.  We just do the best we can.

Re: So tired of gloom and doom

I think that stocking up is a smart idea.

I have supplies just like I would for a hurricane, snow storm or any unusual occasion.

You certainly would not want to have to go shopping if you are sick, even with a simple cold.  You need to stay home and take care of yourself!

I'm with you!  Just returned from a 9 day cruise and a little time in Miami before we left.  I'm still going to the gym, out with friends, etc.  I also have an auto-immune disorder.  I refuse to live my life in fear.

Living my life as I would any other day.  Planning a trip this weekend, made hotel reservations for another one later this month.  Live life now.

Re: So tired of gloom and doom

I'm with you. People have lost their minds, and acting as if it's the zombie apocalypse.

Hoarding toilet paper, water, masks, etc like it's the end of the world.

Afraid to touch anything and everything.

Avoiding going anywhere.

I swear to ---, people have long since forgotten how to have a lick of common sense.

I haven't changed a single thing about my life, and I'm not going to, either.

I absolutely refuse to buy in to the mass hysteria.

Turned off the news this morning, can't stand to listen to all the hysteria.  This board is just as bad.

Re: So tired of gloom and doom

I'm not in a panic but I have altered my lifestyle in my large city. I have stocked up on essentials and I'm only going out and about for essential reasons.  I don't see much common sense in dining out or going to any large public events until this is under control. If I had a dollar for every dum bass person I see outside who sneezes and coughs without taking the proper precautions I'd be wealthy.  You can't fix stupid so I protect myself.

Wear a mask. Social distance. Be part of the solution - not part of the problem.
