Re: So how are your investments doing?

According to my investments and 401k in the last week, I'm going to have to die a lot sooner than originally planned.

Re:'s So how are your investments doing?

I am not looking. I still have ten years before I can retire, so all that I can do is ride it out.

My aunt who is retired, has been purchasing per the advice for her broker. She is also well diversified.

Not an issue. I have a long time until retirement.

There hasn't been any panic here.  Uncertainty, questions, and distrust.  This is a global problem that is affecting trade.  That countries all over weren't prepared, ours probably least of all, made it all the more upsetting but panic?  No, we are waiting and watching and hoping.

@Free2be   What country do you live in? The USA, of all the large countries, has the least cases reported of Corona and those that we have, save for 2 came from a ship from the Far East cruise and the two that have been identified here live in the area of Travis AFB where those rampant with coronavirus are being housed.

@Nonametoday, I don't understand how your reply relates to anything that @Free2be  said.

If you own good companies with good cash flow the long  term investors will recover. The panicking is causing the tanking.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

@Nancy Drew, some may be panicking. But you can't fault the business sector because so many of them have already been hit hard -- travel industries, anything associated with shipping, and so on and so on. Right now here in SoCal, the ports are bleeding from it.
