@SilleeMee - is this early for the snow? Trying to get a predictor of maybe an early fall here. Thanks.

Wow ! We were just up on Pikes Peak , spent 3 hours at the summit , we are from Minnesota so snow is nothing new But in August ? It was 100+ degrees in Denver when we were there 2 weeks ago .

I think I've forgotten what snow looks like - here in So. Indiana the last two winters we've hardly had any at all.

I'm here in Colorado too. So happy to have the temps below 95. What a miserable summer it's been everywhere!. So happy to have rain and some snow in the high country. Have a friend doing a race on Sun in Steamboat Springs. Temps at the start will be around 47. Come on fall

Yes, it is a little early this year. The local weatherman mentioned it this morning that usually the first snow falls on the peak around mid-month to maybe the latter half of August. But as @Kachina624 mentioned, snow can come anytime in the high country here...even in July, but not normally.

Ugh...We've had snow flurries in September where I live in Wisconsin. We really only get three months of summer here, so I'm not too excited to see the snow and cold again.

I'd be happy if I never saw snow again. August is my least favorite month...I hate to see summer end. And thus far, it's not been one of those brutal summers that are typical for the metro-DC area. I'm good with all seasons...but just keep the snow out of winter!
