@SilleeMee  I love snow too.  Maybe because I was born in December?  I don't know but I love when it's an all day event and the trees, grass and roads are all covered.  It is truly beautiful.  Cat Very Happy

Wow!

I'm not ready for snow just yet -- Luckily Long Island doesn't normally get snow until December or after.  It is beautiful the first few times around, but after a while it just seems to pile up and get dirty.  Driving to work in it really gets me nervous too!

Fall weather is something I could live with all year though ---

Enjoy the snow when it reaches you!

Unreal!  It's 75 here, (a low has stalled over us), I have the back door open to the woods and I can hear the birds.

Come have a cheese cracker, some white zin and listen to the blues and Clapton!

@SilleeMee,  Don't forget "Christmas in July"  LOL.   I have a brother is Colorado.  When I saw the rocky mountains the first thing that came to my mind was God's country.  I visited the Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park which was beautiful and saw a few different kinds of wild animals - I loved it.

"America the Beautiful"...song lyrics by Katharine Lee Bates was inspired to write the words standing atop Pikes Peak, America's Mountain. @Katcat1

Yes, it is in the high country right now. Local weatherman showed a live-feed of snow falling on the top of Pikes Peak this morning. So it ain't long before it comes to town here. I love snow.Woman Very Happy

Hearing this made me happy!Smiley Happy

I can't wait for the "Bers" to get here.

I feel so much better during the cooler months mentally and physically.

I am trying not to rush August away but I can't help it.

I love Colorado.  Spent over a month there (Littleton) with an Aunt and Uncle and have always wanted to go there again.  I missed the snow here in Northeastern Indiana last winter.  I love snow.  I don't have to drive in it anymore so that's definitely a bonus!

@SilleeMee, about a week ago, I read about a ski resort in that vicinity that was just getting ready to finally close for a couple of weeks after having a banner extended season! Maybe they'll get more time still!

They showed bikini clad skiers: this resort had it all!

I love snow, but extreme cold and I do not get along. Enjoy!

Hugs,
